Most of Cheddar’s eating places are in the Lower Gorge with a few around the village centre by the Market Cross.

Takeaway food only

There are a number of takeaway-only food outlets mainly in The Cliffs and Cliff Street area.

Public houses

Cheddar has several pubs, the Bath Arms, Riverside Inn, Gardeners Arms, Kings Head, White Hart, Galleries, Black Dog and also the Early Doors ale and cider barn, offering varied environments and dining options.
