Sharpham Road Playing Fields parkrun
Our parkrun is a 5km run, you against the clock. Every Saturday at 9am, at Sharpham Road Playing Fields, Sharpham Road, Cheddar, BS27 3DR. It’s free to join but but please register before your first run and bring a printed copy of your barcode on the day. We all run for our own enjoyment so please come along and join in whatever your pace!

It is entirely organised by volunteers – email sharphamroadplayingfields@parkrun.com to help. To become a volunteer you do need to be registered (it’s free) with parkrun at parkrun.org.uk/register.

You can also have a look at this short video about volunteering produced by Leamington parkrun to get a feel for what is involved (since this was filmed, all parkruns now use a smartphone app for timekeeping and barcode scanning rather than using the stopwatches and scanning devices shown, so volunteers for these roles need to download the free app and bring a fully-charged phone with them).

Cheddar Junior parkrun
A 2km run kids aged 4-14 every Sunday morning at Kings Fitness and Leisure, Station Road. Operates in the same framework and welcomes new volunteers. Find out more at parkrun.org.uk/cheddar-juniors.
